We are looking for a Technical Support/System Engineer to work on critical infrastructure service that supports almost all IT processes of our customers.
What will you do:
Analyze and resolve L2 support cases in the EBM (Enterprise Batch Management) infrastructure
Escalate to the engineering team where appropriate
Consult development teams to setup, configure, deploy, and run their batch solutions
Support configuration, testing, and rollout of changes in the batch infrastructure
Monitor the batch infrastructure
On-call support (24/7 with weekly rotations) and shift-based work
Coordinate weekly activities between multiple teams
Reporting activities to management, providing ad-hoc needed reports by request
What we expect from candidates:
Unix/Windows support/system engineer, ideally with knowledge and experience in UC4 or other scheduling engines
Good spoken and written English
SQL and scripting knowledge
Database knowledge e.g. Oracle, DB2, and/or SQL Server
Customer friendliness
Ability to manage
Nice to have:
Azure (or other cloud solutions) basic experience
Mainframe/JCL/UC4 knowledge
